Hey, I'm Nicole!
I'm a holistic nutritionist certified by the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. I live in Toronto, Ontario and provide my services online.

I'm originally from the beautiful Okanagan in BC (if you haven't been, add it to your places in Canada to visit, especially in the summer). I live with my hubby and our super energetic son. I love all things outdoor, comfort food and painting.

After going through my own fertility struggles I decided I wanted to dedicate my time to helping other women going through the same thing. I also know that making huge lifestyle changes can be extremely challenging, that's why I believe in a simple, sustainable approach. Dealing with infertility is already stressful enough, I want to help you take positive steps forward so you can feel empowered and hopeful in your journey, stress free.
I try to provide my clients with an easy to follow approach so they can have continued success and feel confident in the choices they make.

My health journey started in my mid-20s. After years of poor lifestyle habits and a diet consisting of processed food and a little too much alcohol I started to work out on a regular basis, that’s also when I began to make changes to my diet and started to feel more energized, happier and overall better with myself. I lost weight and gained muscle I never knew I had!

I met my hubby when we were both 29, shortly after we moved abroad to Australia to work and play for a few years before returning to Canada.

While in the middle of planning our relocation back to Canada, I noticed I was starting to feel a bit drained, my hair had started to fall out, I was gaining a bit of weight and I was moodier than usual. I thought it was the stress of moving and didn’t think much more of it.

Once back in Canada I found a new doctor and was ordered the usual blood panel. That’s when I got the call, she told me I had low TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) and high antibodies and that I have an autoimmune disease called Hashimoto’s. This was the first time I had ever heard of it so off I went to research as much as I could. I was prescribed 1 pill daily and was told it would likely be for life. I wasn’t told that all the pill does is keep my numbers in range, my symptoms weren’t being treated and I was left feeling crappy and frustrated.

Once I discovered that with modifications to my lifestyle and diet I could improve how I felt, I knew I wanted to learn more about nutrition and how it can influence our bodies. That’s when I made the choice to return to school and pursue nutrition as a career.

My fertility journey started shortly after, in 2015 we got married and decided to try for a mini us right away. After several months of no luck I was referred to a fertility specialist, there where no issues that they could find with either of us. That first month at the clinic I got pregnant but it sadly ended as a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks. Fast forward over a year and months of monitoring and we finally ended up pregnant. I was 35 by the time I got pregnant again and 36 when I delivered our child.

After struggling to conceive with my son, I needed to learn as much as I could about prenatal and fertility nutrition as well as the mind/body connection. This is where my interest in working with couples and women with fertility issues started. I wanted to have a place where I can share my knowledge and help others when they are going through some of the most challenging times.

Whatever your journey is, I know first hand how overwhelming it can be once you decide to make health changes. There is so much information out there and interpreting it to fit into your lifestyle can be stressful! I want to help, I want to give you the tools, knowledge and confidence to move forward in your health journey, stress free. I love sharing my knowledge of nutrition and helping empower others to optimize their health.

Why did I choose to become a holistic nutritionist? Holistic Nutrition considers the whole person. Environment, lifestyle and emotional state along with nutritional needs are all vital when trying to restore balance to the body. Its not a one size fits all approach, we are all unique so the way we nourish our bodies should be too.

I offer consultations virtually.
Have a question, feel free to get in touch.

Have a great day!
& to all who need it... Baby Dust to you!
